The Arches project received a 2017 CGIA (California Geographic Information Association) GIS Award for Outstanding Internet Application at the ESRI Conference in San Diego in July. Arches Project Manager Alison Dalgity was present to accept the award.
According to the CGIA website, the Outstanding Internet Application Award is “granted to the outstanding integration of GIS and web technologies demonstrating excellence in aesthetic presentation, functionality, ease of use, and overall user experience.”
Founded in 1994, the California Geographic Information Association (CGIA) is a non-profit, statewide association that serves California’s Geographic Information System (GIS) community by facilitating coordination, collaboration, and advocacy.
